WhatsApp and phone calls
The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp (a Meta service) with a message you can edit. Nothing is sent until you press send. The message names only the page or layout you are looking at, never your personal details. Tapping the phone number opens your phone’s dialler.
The enquiry form
The form collects your name, the reply method you choose with its number or email, the kind of enquiry, and an optional message. It is used only to reply to that enquiry, and it is delivered by Formspree (a form delivery service in the United States) to Kevin Lee’s email and WhatsApp. Your name and one way to reach you are required; without them there is no way to reply. We never ask for your IC number, income, bank details or title documents.
Site statistics (no cookies)
On kuchailama.com itself, the site uses Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager, with analytics and advertising storage set to “denied”. So no analytics or advertising cookies are set, and there is no consent banner. Google may still receive simple cookie-free signals, such as the page viewed and the device type. Recorded interactions (tapping WhatsApp, for example) never include your name, phone number, email or message. The host, Cloudflare, also counts page views and page speed without cookies.
My Kuchai
When you tap “Save”, the site keeps a list in your browser (a local storage item called kuchai.collection.v1). It holds only the public codes of places, developments or layouts, with no name or phone number, and it is never uploaded. You can clear it in My Kuchai at any time.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes connection data such as IP addresses for security and delivery. Fonts and images are served by the site itself, never requested from Google Fonts. When you open Google Maps or a Google Business Profile, Google’s privacy policy applies.
Your rights
Under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you can ask to see or correct your personal data, and you can withdraw your consent. Enquiry details are kept until your enquiry has been dealt with and for as long as reasonable records require; you can ask for them to be deleted at any time.
